COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Aug. 8, 2026) – Fourteen Men’s National Team athletes are in Cuernavaca Morelos, Mexico, for the 2026 NORCECA Pan American Cup, scheduled for Aug. 9-15.
The U.S. Men are in a pool with Canada, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico and Trinidad Tobago, and kick off play Sunday, Aug. 9, at 3 p.m. PT against Costa Rica. The second pool consists of Cuba, Curacao, Dominican Republic, Guatemala and Mexico.
Under head coach Andy Read, the roster includes seven current collegiate athletes: Jackson Cryst, Sterling Foley, Sean Kelly, Kainoa Wade, Tread Rosenthal, Parker Tomkinson and Micah Wong Diallo. Patrick Rogers and Cam Thorne recently completed their college volleyball careers, while Troy Gooch, Kyle Hobus, Jacob Reilly and Micahel Wright (and Thorne) were all part of the 2025 Men’s Pan Am Cup team. Jacob Pasteur has been part of the Men’s National Team for the last two seasons.
David Lee and Reed Priddy, both 2008 gold medalists for the Men’s National Team, are the assistant coaches.
Last year, the U.S. Men finished sixth at the Pan Am Cup. The U.S. has won the event five times, most recently in 2012. The team finished second in 2024.
