Hear from Tori as she discusses efforts to fight back from injury multiple times to hopefully make the Tokyo roster, while Erik reminisces about the Men’s National Team’s bronze medal run in Brazil and a night of karaoke with Stephen and the rest of the squad.

In this episode, Clarence and Stephen discuss the ongoing Volleyball Nations League, how the U.S. Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Teams prepared for it, and how it’ll help both squads during the Olympic Games later this summer. First, U.S. Women’s National Team Assistant Coach/ Director, National Team Development Program Erin Virtue (5:15 – 31:30) discusses the women’s national team, the atmosphere in the training gym heading up to this summer’s competitions and about the redeveloped National Team Development Program. Next, the guys chat with U.S. Men’s National Team setter and 2016 Olympic bronze medalist Micah Christenson (36:48 – 1:02:47) about returning to the national team’s practice gym and about his expanding family.

In this episode, Clarence and Stephen record direct from the 2021 Girls Junior National Championship in Las Vegas. They sit down with Competition Director and USA Volleyball’s Director of Events Kristy Cox (4:09 – 10:44), who discusses the atmosphere in Las Vegas, a new attendance record and much more. They also have post-match chats with Hawaiian Style Volleyball Club 14’s libero, Natronai Anana (10:44 – 13:34) and head coach Monica Bustos from Club Solano (13:34 – 17:45).

In this episode, Stephen is out in Tokyo for the Olympic Games with our content producer, Kyle Scholzen. They talk about their Olympic experiences and how Tokyo is going so far. They also chat with Taylor Sander (18:14 – 22:08), outside hitter for the U.S. Men’s National Team and discover some breaking news from him. Clarence wraps everything up discussing the Olympic schedules and upcoming events.
