2024 Season Continues with Women's Pan Am Cup

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Aug. 17, 2024) – The 2024 international volleyball season did not end with the Olympic Closing Ceremony. USA Volleyball is sending 14 athletes to compete at the Women’s NORCECA Pan American Cup on August 18-25 in the cities of León and Irapuato in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico.

The Women’s Pan American Cup is the qualifier to the 2025 Women’s Pan American Cup, the 2025 NORCECA Women’s Continental Championship and the 2027 Pan American Games.

Pool play matches will be streamed at the Mexican Federation Facebook page.

Setters for the U.S. Women will be Jenna Gray and Ella Powell. The liberos are Zoe Fleck and Sarah Sponcil.

Outside hitters are Logan Eggleston, Claire Hoffman, Roni Jones-Perry and Jaali Winters. The opposites are Kendall Kipp and Stephanie Samedy. The middle blockers are Serena Gray, Amber Igiede, Tia Jimerson and Breland Morrissette.

Brad Rostratter will be the team’s head coach with assistance from Jonathan Charette and Tayyiba Haneef-Park.

The U.S. Women will open in Pool B, which also includes Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba and Puerto Rico.

The U.S. Women have won the Pan Am Cup seven times since its inception in 2002. It finished third in 2022 and 2023.
