COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (June 11, 2026) – Three Olympians return to the U.S. Women’s National Team for week two of the 2026 Volleyball Nations League (VNL), June16-20, in Pasig City, Philippines.
The VNL brings together the world’s top 18 teams for three action-packed weeks of preliminary play, with each team competing in four matches per week. Only the top eight teams will earn a spot in the Final Round, where a VNL title will be on the line. The U.S. finished 3-1 in week one and open week two at 9 p.m. PT vs. the Dominican Republic on June 16.
Setter Jordyn Poulter and middle blockers Chiaka Ogbogu and Dana Rettke are the Olympians who will make their first appearance in 2026 in the Philippines. Setters Micha Hancock and Saige Ka’aha’aina-Torres return for week two, as do liberos Lexi Rodriguez and Morgan Hentz; middle blockers Molly McCage and Asjia O’Neal; opposites Jordan Thompson and Stephanie Samedy; and outside hitters Avery Skinner, Logan Eggleston, Simone Lee-Wank and Madi Kubik-Banks.
The U.S. Women are the reigning Olympic silver medalists and ranked No. 7 in the world. They have won the VNL three times (2018, ’19, ’21) since its inception in 2018. In 2025, they lost in the quarterfinals to Türkiye.
