COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (April 2, 2019) – USA Volleyball is proud to announce the final six award recipients who will be honored during its Hall of Fame inductions presented at the Dorothy C. Boyce Banquet on May 22 in Columbus, Ohio.
The six awardees comprise the Junior Assembly Leadership Awards category, and they will join other legends of the game receiving their Hall of Fame enshrinement including John Kessel as the Harold T. Friermood “Frier” award and Misty May-Treanor as the All-Time Great Female Beach Player.
Sherry and Kevin Wong have been selected to receive the Junior Outstanding Program Director award. Priscila Cunha de Almeida has been chosen to receive the Junior Outstanding Male Female Coach award.
Ken Levy will be presented the Junior Outstanding Clinician award in Columbus, while Kari Duncan will receive the Junior Outstanding Referee award. Colleen Houk has been chosen as this year’s Junior Outstanding Service award recipient and Trish Fay will be presented the Junior Outstanding Parent award.
“We are happy to announce the recipients of the Junior Assembly Leadership Awards,” said Chris Clauss, chair of USA Volleyball Recognition and Award Commission and the Junior Assembly Leadership Awards. “We applaud their service and contributions to the junior volleyball community.”
