COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (April 10, 2025)The Beach Collegiate Challenge returns for its fifth year, continuing to grow men’s beach volleyball. The event takes place Sept. 19-21 on the campus of Stevenson University in Owings Mills, MD.

With 32 teams competing in the main draw, each pair is guaranteed at least three matches, providing valuable playing experience and potential scouting opportunities through the National Team Development Program (NTDP). Players have the unique opportunity to represent their respective universities and can compete as a pair, even if they attend different colleges or universities. This competition may be used for consideration for selection to determine members of an age group national team. Tournament play runs Sept. 19-20 with the finals taking place Sept. 21.

“USA Volleyball is proud to partner with Stevenson University for the fifth consecutive year on the Men’s Collegiate Challenge, reaffirming our dedication to fostering the growth of men’s collegiate beach volleyball,” said Melissa Weymouth, Director, International & Outdoor Events & Sponsorship. “This event provides a premier platform for athletes to develop their skills, compete at a high level, and gain exposure to our Beach National Team Development Program (NTDP). We look forward to another exciting year of competition and talent discovery.”

Participants, coaches, and staff must be current USAV members. Athletes must be at least 18 and under 25 years of age as of Sept. 21, 2025. Pairs can be formed by athletes from different colleges or universities.
