COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Feb. 27, 2019) – Three U.S. women’s beach teams are in Visakhapatnam, India for an FIVB World Tour one-star event, which begins Thursday.

All three teams are entered in the qualification bracket, where the twin-sister team of Audrey and Nicole Nourse will play Corinne Quiggle/Cassie House. Only one team will advance to the main draw.

The other U.S. team of Tanna Aljoe/Melissa Fuchs will face Tasha Mae/Shu Woon Joo of Malaysia.

SYDNEY THREE-STAR

U.S. beach teams will compete next at the FIVB three-star tournament on March 5-10 in Sydney, Australia.

DOHA FOUR-STAR

Four U.S. teams are scheduled to compete at the FiVB four-star event in Doha, Qatar on March 11-16.

Nick Lucena/Phil Dalhausser will open their 2019 season with the event and are the top seeds.

Tri Bourne and Taylor Crabb are also in the main draw, seeded 19th.

The teams of Miles Evans/Bill Kolinske and Chase Budinger/Casey Patterson will play in the qualifying bracket. 

A country quota match was held Feb. 26 in Manhattan Beach, Calif., to determine the two teams in the qualifier. Evans/Kolinske beat Ryan Doherty/John Hyden, 21-13, 21-19. Budinger/Patterson defeated Stafford Slick/Billy Allen, 27-25, 21-13.
