COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Aug. 23, 2018) – Five U.S. women’s beach teams are scheduled to compete this week at the FIVB World Tour three-star event in Chetumal, Mexico.
Kerri Walsh Jennings/Brooke Sweat are the second-seeded team in the main draw behind Canada’s Brandie Wilkerson/Heather Bansley, who are coming off a victory at the last week’s Las Vegas Open, an FIVB four-star.
Brittany Howard/Kelly Reeves are seeded 16th in the main draw and Kim DiCello/Irene Pollock received a wild card berth and are seeded 20th.
Kim Smith/Jace Pardon will start out in the qualifier as will Caitlin Ledoux/Geena Urango.
Steve Paulseth will provide sports medicine services.

The U.S. women’s beach teams of Katie Spieler/Karissa Cook and Melissa Fuchs/Victoria Dennis and the men’s team of Travis Mewhirter/Ben Vaught are registered to compete at the NORCECA Beach Tour event in Martinique on Oct. 26-28.
