The WNT Open Program is used for consideration for selection to both our Women’s National Team and our Women’s Collegiate National Team. These programs allow our Women’s National Team staff to observe the highest potential athletes with and against one another. In 2023, members of our Women’s National Team will compete in the following events: Volleyball Nations League, Paris Olympic Qualifier, Pan American Cup, NORCECA Continental Championship, and potentially Pan American Games. Athletes born in 2003 or younger may also be in consideration for selection to our U21 Women’s National Team that will compete in the 2023 FIVB U21 World Championship.
The program is scheduled for Feb. 24-26 at the Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and is open to current and recently graduated college-age athletes born in the years 1998-2004* inclusive. Athletes born outside of this age group may email Nicole Segura for approval to attend.
The 2023 U.S. Women’s Collegiate National Team will train in Anaheim alongside the U.S. Women’s National Team athletes and staff. This program is used for consideration for selection to our Women’s National Team and related events. Dates for the WCNT training block will be announced soon.

There is no longer a vaccination requirement for athletes or program staff participating in the WNT Open Program. At this time, there is still a vaccine requirement for spectators, and those planning to attend the event in this capacity should be prepared with proper documentation based on posted guidelines on the OPTC website.
To provide the safest environment for all athletes and staff, all participants must successfully complete a USAV Volleyball membership, background screening, and SafeSport certification. Note: Background screens make take up to 15 business days to process, so we advise starting this process as soon as you register.
As space is limited at the OPTC, only approved spectators will be allowed in the facility. To request access as a spectator, fill out this form.
