COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Oct. 9, 2024) – USA Volleyball has launched the Bronze Tier of its Coach Academy on SportsEngine. The Bronze Tier is free for all USA Volleyball member coaches.
The USA Volleyball Coach Academy is an online interactive learning platform for coaches. It offers a content library where coaches can explore learning paths, courses and modules based on the five pillars of the USA Volleyball Development Model – Team, Heart, Body, Mind, Craft.
Silver Tier content is for a season and Gold offers advanced comprehensive content and exclusive features. Both levels are available through monthly or annual subscription plans.
“Our new USA Volleyball Coach Academy is changing the game for volleyball coaches at all levels,” said Jenny Johnson, director, education services. “Every coach can access quality training to improve their skills, whether they’re just starting out or have years of experience.”
With the Coach Academy, volleyball coaches can access tools, knowledge and resources they need for a successful season and elevate their coaching skills to the next level.
The Coach Academy has regular updates with new modules and live sessions. Coaches can learn from top volleyball coaches, experts and educators, including those who have worked with the U.S. national teams.
The Coach Academy offers flexible learning at the coach’s own pace and schedule.
“By making it easy for coaches to access great training, especially with the free Bronze Tier, we’re investing in the future of volleyball coaching across the nation,” Johnson said. “This is how we’re building stronger coaches and, ultimately, better volleyball programs for all.”
