COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (March 9, 2018) – Phil Dalhausser and Nick Lucena will play for the bronze medal on Saturday at the KATARA Beach Volleyball Cup in Doha, Qatar, an FIVB four-star event on the Beach World Tour.
Dalhausser and Lucena fell in the semifinals on Friday to Russia’s 15th-seeded Oleg Stoyanovskiy and Igor Velichko, 21-19, 21-16. The U.S. duo will play Qatar’s eighth-seeded Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan in the bronze medal match.
Dalhausser and Lucena won the Fort Lauderdale Major, an FIVB five-star event, last week in Florida.
