Girls 18s National Championship

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (April 21, 2022) – Hundreds of club teams will heat up Phoenix on April 22-24 at the USA Volleyball Girls 18s Junior National Championship.

A record 350 teams with approximately 4,000 athletes are expected to compete in seven divisions this weekend at the Phoenix Convention Center. Most of the athletes will be competing at their final national championship before moving on from club volleyball.

Teams qualified for all but the Patriot Division by competing in qualifying tournaments. The Patriot Division is a nonqualifying division. There are also two new divisions this year, Liberty and Freedom.

Forty-eight teams are registered to compete in the premier Open Division.

It’s the first time that the Phoenix Convention Center will host the Girls 18s National Championship. It has previously hosted the USAV Boys Junior National Championship and the USAV Open National Championship.

All courts at the Girls 18s Junior National Championships will be streamed live on BallerTV, which is a subscription service. Four selected courts will be streamed for free at USAVolleyball.org.

Players and families are encouraged to follow and engage in social media detailing their tournament experience by using the hashtag #GJNC18. USA Volleyball will be posting social media content to its Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat platforms under the handle @USAVolleyball.
