NTDP Indoor Trianing Series

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (March 7, 2022) – Select junior beach and indoor volleyball athletes will soon receive invitations to the USA Volleyball National Team Development Program’s (NTDP) Spring Training Series and Summer Training Series.

These training series will give junior athletes the chance to practice with and play against some of the best athletes in the United States while receiving guidance from top coaches.

NTDP Beach Training SeriesThe Beach NTDP will host two Spring Training Series in Virginia Beach, Va. (May 13-15) and in Southern California (May 20-22) for girls under-15 through U19 and boys U16-U20.

The Indoor NTDP will hold its Spring Training Series in Chicago (May 6-9). Girls U16 through U19 and boys U17-U20 age groups will run May 6-8 while girls U15 and boys U16 age groups will run May 7-9.

The Indoor NTDP will host its Summer Training Series in Tulsa, Okla. (July 14-18). This residential Summer Training Series will be held ahead of the 2022 USA Volleyball All-Star Championship (July 19-23 at the Cox Business Convention Center) as a separate training program.

All training series are conducted by top NTDP coaches throughout the country and features a comprehensive focus on the five pillars of the NTDP: Craft, Mind, Body, Heart and Team. Athletes will also receive complimentary access to the NTDP Academy, giving them further educational opportunities.

Invitations to the Spring Training Series are set to go out starting in mid-March via email. Athletes will be identified and invited based on recommendations from the NTDP Scouting Network. The NTDP Scouting Network serves as the NTDP talent identification process and includes coaches and experts from across the United States.

The NTDP will hold an open informational Town Hall on Monday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. ET, 4:30 p.m. PT. In this Town Hall, the NTDP will speak to updates, the mission of the NTDP, and how the department is planning for the future. Register here to attend the event.
