“It felt amazing,” said OTVA 13 S. Rox Red captain Brianna Anderson, who was providing blistering attacks all match. “We had already won AAU, but we knew this was a lot more competitive. We were coming into it very strong. We had a really good tournament throughout and it feels absolutely amazing.”

Receiving gold is nothing new for Anderson at USA Volleyball Girls’ Junior National Championships, but she said this experience tops her past performances.

“Personally, this is my third (USAV) Junior Nationals,” Anderson said. “I had won 12 American when I was 11 years old. But this is the first time I have ever won an Open title at the highest division.”
