COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Aug. 4, 2019) – The U.S. snow volleyball team of Troy Field, Maddison McKibbin, Riley McKibbin and Jameson McKibbin took silver at the FIVB Tour event in Bariloche, Argentina.

In Sunday’s gold-medal match, the U.S. team of Maddison McKibbin, Jameson McKibbin, Troy Field and Riley McKibbin (L to R in photo above) fell to Argentina’s Leo Aveiro, Fabrizio Satriano, Sebastian Fernandez and Ramiro Nuñez, 10-15, 20-18, 15-11.

The U.S. team members, all of whom play beach volleyball, have medaled in both snow events in which they have competed. Without Jameson, they took gold at the previous event in Plan de Corones / Kronplatz, Italy.

In the women’s event, the U.S. team of Karissa Cook, Emily Hartong, Katie Spieler and Allie Wheeler tiedfor fifth after losing to Argentina 1 – Maria Eugenia Tuliz, Maria Virginia Zonta, Julieta Puntin, Cecilia Peralta – in the quarterfinals, 15-9, 8-15, 15-13.
