Sunshine Classic Qualifier Heating up Orlando

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (February 24, 2023) – More than 1,200 teams are registered for the USA Volleyball Sunshine Classic Girls Qualifier on February 25-27 and March 3-5 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Teams in the 13-15 age groups will compete the first weekend. Teams in the 11-12 and 16-18 age divisions will play the second weekend. More than 40,000 are expected over the course of the two weekends.

The Sunshine Classic qualifies teams for one of two 2023 USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship events. The championship for the 11-13 age divisions will be June 14-17 in Minneapolis. The championship for the 14-17 divisions will be June 28-July 6 in Chicago.

Teams will qualify in the following divisions:
11 National
12 American/National/USA
13 American/Liberty/Open/USA
14 American/Liberty/Open/USA
15 American/Liberty/Open/USA
16 American/Liberty/Open/USA
17 American/Liberty/Open/USA
18 Club

USA Volleyball is hosting the 2022 Sunshine Classic Girls Qualifier in cooperation with the Greater Orlando Sports Commission.
