COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (March 14, 2022) – This June, high school- and college-aged beach volleyball athletes across the nation will compete for spots on three separate age-group national teams.

USA Volleyball’s Beach National Team Development Program (NTDP) will host trials for the U19, U20 and World University Championship Beach National Teams. All three trials will take place in Southern California with exact locations to be finalized shortly.

The U.S. has recently won both the FIVB U19 Beach World Championship and the FISU Beach World University Championship. Last December, Delaynie Maple/Megan Kraft claimed the U19 world title in Thailand, and Xolani Hodel/Kate Reilly finished fourth. Americans have twice won the World University Championship, most recently in 2016 when current U.S. Beach National Team athletes Kelly Claes/Sara Hughes struck gold.
