COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (July 10, 2026) – The U.S. Men’s Sitting National Team began play at the 2026 World ParaVolley World Championship in Hangzhou, China, with a critical 3-2 (25-23, 25-21, 15-25, 20-25, 15-12) victory over Ukraine.

We are super fortunate that we have gotten to play them a lot recently. It was really good to see our guys battle back and we knew that was what it was going to be like the whole time,” said U.S. head coach Greg Walker.

Outside hitter Zach Upp led all players with 19 points on 13 kills, a team-best four blocks and a pair of aces.
