LINCOLN, Neb. (Jan. 5, 2016) – The Women’s NORCECA Olympic Qualification Tournament will garner large crowds at the Pinnacle Bank Arena as it is played Jan. 7-9 in Lincoln, Neb., and that will be supplemented by a vast worldwide viewing audience thanks to live internet streaming and the final match being shown live on television in the United States and satellite.

The U.S., ranked No. 1 in the world and reigning world champions, hosts No. 7 Dominican Republic, No. 15 Puerto Rico and No. 16 Canada with the winner earning a berth into the 2016 Olympic Games. The tournament field was determined by the top four teams from the eight-team 2015 NORCECA Women’s Continental Championship held in Mexico. Team USA captured the title with a four-set win over Dominican Republic, while Puerto Rico won the bronze medal over Canada.

Fans are purchasing tickets at a fast pace to watch the NORCECA Olympic Qualification Tournament matches in person with limited tickets still available. Tickets can be purchased through Ticket Master.

For fans unable to attend the Qualifier matches, live video streaming is available for free through the USA Volleyball web site. All but the final match will be streamed online.

USA hosts Dominican Republic in the final match on Jan. 9 at 8 p.m. CT and will be aired lived on NBC Sports.
