Megan Kraft and Delaynie Maple own the Beach Volleyball U19 World Championship Saturday. It’s the U.S.’ first U19 title since 2010. Xolani Hodel and Kate Reilly finished fourth.

Louisiana to Host Women’s VNL Stop; Tix on Sale Dec. 14

The U.S. Women’s National Team will play on U.S. soil for the first time since winning the Olympic gold medal in Tokyo when it competes in the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Nations League (VNL) on May 31-June 5 at Brookshire Grocery Arena in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Reft Rejoins USAV as Seasonal Assistant for Women’s Team

USA Volleyball has hired University of San Diego Women’s Volleyball Associate Head Coach Alfred “Alfee” Reft to serve as its seasonal assistant coach for the U.S. Women’s National Team. Reft played libero for the U.S. Men’s National Team from 2006-10 and was an Olympic alternate in 2008. He returned to the team in 2012-15. Reft served as a volunteer assistant coach for both the U.S. Women’s and Men’s teams in 2016-18.

2021 Beach U19 World Championships Begin in Thailand

The U.S. Beach U19 National Team will begin play at the 2021 FIVB Beach Volleyball U19 World Championships late Sunday. Four pairs will compete for the United States.
