Long Beach State is back on top in this week’s college roundup. The Beach retakes the top place after unseating No. 1 Hawaii with a 3-2 win last Saturday at Walter Pyramid. Long Beach Received 23 first place votes in the latest AVCA poll.

Major changes hit the men’s volleyball college roundup as we finish off the second full week of March. Down goes former No. 1 GCU, who had its undefeated streak snapped with two ranked losses in the Outrigger Invitational. This result moves the Rainbow Warriors up to the No. 1 slot in this week’s rankings.

MNT Update: Ma’a and Halkbank Undefeated in Türkiye

In this week’s update, setter Micah Ma’a and Halkbank are still undefeated in Türkiye. Outside hitter T.J. DeFalco and Asseco Resovia Rzeszów look strong in Poland. Thomas Jaeschke and the Panasonic Panthers lead the league in Japan.

No change to the roundup this week as the top-5 stays the same across both divisions. Grand Canyon is on top for another week in DI/II, earning 21 AVCA votes to remain No. 1. In DIII, Wentworth earned 20 votes to stay ahead of Stevens and Southern Virginia.

A group of 17 top college volleyball players will join U.S. Women’s National Team Head Coach Karch Kiraly and his staff along with two Olympic gold medalists at the USA Volleyball Spring Training Camp on March 10-16

MNT Update: Anderson and Ziraat Bankkart Make CEV Champions League Semis

Matt Anderson and Türkiye’s Ziraat Bankkart Ankara have advanced to the semifinals of the CEV Champions League. TJ DeFalco and Poland’s Asseco Resovia Rzeszów will play Matthew Knigge and Germany’s SVG Lüneburg in the finals of the CEV Cup. Taylor Averill and Poland’s Projekt Warszawa won the CEV Challenge Cup.
