Retirement Series: Nichole Millage

We continue our athlete retirement series by honoring Nichole Millage of the U.S. Women’s Sitting Team. Nichole is a four-time Paralympic medalist who started with the team in 2005, less than a year after the team won a surprise bronze medal at the 2004 Athens Paralympic Games. She was named an alternate for the team that competed at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games, but then got the surprise call to play and won her second Paralympic gold medal.

Retirement Series: Phil Dalhausser

Phil Dalhausser ended his illustrious international career in 2021. He won Olympic gold at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, and he also won the 2007 Beach Volleyball World Championship.

Two Top-10 Finishes in Thailand for Beach U21s

The U.S. Beach U21 National Team claimed two top-10 finishes at the FIVB Beach Volleyball U21 World Championships this week. Both Matt Gentry/Phil Catanzaro and Nicole Nourse/Maddie Anderson finished tied for ninth place.

Retirement Series: Jake Gibb

Four-time Olympian Jake Gibb retired in 2021 after two decades in professional beach volleyball. He won seven FIVB tournaments and competed in eight world championships.
