U.S. Women Head to Dominican Republic for 2026 NORCECA Continental Championship

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Aug. 19, 2026) – The U.S. Women’s National Team is on its way to Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic for the 2026 NORCECA Continental Championship, August 21-28 The competition is a qualifier for both the 2027 Women’s World Cup and the 2028 Olympic Games for all teams except the U.S.

As the host country for the World Cup and Olympics, the U.S. will conclude play in the Dominican Republic on August 26 after the finals. The top four teams in the competition (excluding the U.S.) will stay for a semifinal and final event to determine Olympic qualification.

The U.S. Women are in Group A for the Continental Championship with Trinidad and Tobago, Mexico and Canada. They open play on August 21 against Trinidad and Tobago at 11 a.m. PT.

Fourteen players are on the U.S. roster, including 2024 Olympians Chiaka Ogbogu, Jordyn Poulter, Dana Rettke, Avery Skinner and Jordan Thompson.
