Meet 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist Ryan Millar!
Olympic gold medalist and BYU graduate Ryan Millar will do free meet-and-greet sessions at the Mountain Classic.
Millar is a three-time Olympian at middle blocker who won gold at the 2008 Games in Beijing. He also won the gold medal at the 2008 FIVB World League and bronze in 2007. He was a three-time first-team AVCA All-American while at BYU.
Millar will be available to sign autographs and take photos with players and teams.

- Entry will be located on both the SOUTH Entrance located on 200 South Temple Street
- AM Waves – Doors will open at 7 a.m. Once you have completed your work assignments and matches for the day please leave the facility.
- PM Waves – Door will open at 2:00p.m., to allow AM waves to leave after their scheduled 1 p.m. game.

Q: What is the last-day forfeit policy?
A: A penalty of $100 will be issued for any last-day forfeits.

Q: Are the matches livestreamed?
A: Leave the cameras and tripods at home and enjoy the action – live! We have partnered with BallerTV to provide professional live streaming for this event. They have the necessary liability insurance and expertise to set up video equipment to protect athletes and fans. Any other live streaming, including the use of Facebook Live, is strictly prohibited.

Q: What is the concession and seating policy?
A: No outside food, coolers or chairs are allowed in the convention center. The Salt Palace Convention Center will be selling food in the venue and have made an effort to provide a good variety of options.
Q: What is the parking situation?
A:
The Salt Palace Convention Center offers two convenient underground automated garages that are open 24 hours a day:
- 100 South Lot – Two Entrances: Enter off of 200 South between West Temple and 200 West or enter off of 200 West just south of the dock entrance. (600 stalls)
- 300 West Lot – Two Entrances: Enter off of 300 West between 100 South and South Temple or enter off of 100 South between 200 West just past the Japanese Garden. (400 stalls)
- Accessible parking available in both lots.
- Bicycles racks are located in the garages and in various places outside the facility.
- Continuous security surveillance.

Q: Are there practice opportunities?
A: There will be practice opportunities available at the convention center from 5-8pm on December 1st in Hall A-C . Courts are first come first serve basis with an hour limit in order to allow everyone an equal opportunity to utilize them
Q: Balls and Carts
A: USA Volleyball will be providing warm-up balls and carts for rent.
Q: Is there luggage storage?
A: There will not be an area designated for luggage storage at the convention center. Please arrange with your hotel.

All spectators are required to purchase tickets for entry into the 2022 Mountain Classic. USAV is using an electronic ticketing system. An electronic ticket (QR code) and photo identification will be required for each entry and re-entry into the facility.
Tickets can only be purchased online starting Friday November 18th.

Registration opens: August 24, 2022 at 12 p.m. ET
Registration closes: November 18, 2022 at 12 p.m. ET
PLEASE NOTE: Teams will be able to begin uploading rosters onto AES on September 1st . Acceptance will first be given to teams who have completed all requirements. A team’s registration time stamp will be used once a division fills up and moves to a waitlist status.

- Pay registration fee, either by check or credit card
- Complete housing through Team Travel Source (More information below)
** ROSTERS MUST BE SUBMITTED AFTER SEPTEMBER 1ST DUE TO THE START OF THE NEW MEMBERSHIP YEAR ** ROSTER DEADLINE WILL BE NOVEMBER 5TH **
All registration requirements need to be completed in order to be fully accepted into the event.
