USA Volleyball, the U.S. national governing body for the sport of volleyball, and Mizuno, the global specialty sporting goods company, have announced details on a new multi-year partnership beginning in January of 2022 and lasting through the 2024 Olympics in Paris and the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.

European club teams with U.S. Men’s National Team players are doing well in the pool play round of the CEV Champions League.

USAV indoor U.S. National Team head coaches Karch Kiraly and John Speraw have renewed their contracts through 2024. 

The U.S. Beach U21 National Team claimed two top-10 finishes at the FIVB Beach Volleyball U21 World Championships this week. Both Matt Gentry/Phil Catanzaro and Nicole Nourse/Maddie Anderson finished tied for ninth place.

Four-time Olympian Jake Gibb retired in 2021 after two decades in professional beach volleyball. He won seven FIVB tournaments and competed in eight world championships.

Twenty-five athletes currently competing in the NCAA DIU Women's Volleyball Tournament national semifinals have USA Volleyball and National Team Development Program experience.

Registration is now open for the 2022 USA Volleyball Women’s National Team Open Program, which is scheduled for Feb. 25-27 at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. 

USA Volleyball is saddened to learn of the death of Dr. Donald S. “Don” Shondell, seventh president of USA Volleyball (1979-80) an AVCA Hall of Fame coach and a 1996 inductee of the International Volleyball Hall of Fame.

USA Volleyball has selected Salt Lake City to host the 2023 Boys Junior National Championship (BJNC) on June 29-July 6 at the Calvin L. Rampton Salt Palace Convention Center.
