Looking Ahead: Girls 18s Nationals Bound for Baltimore in 2024

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Sept. 1, 2022) – USA Volleyball will host the 2024 USA Volleyball Girls 18s Junior National Championship on April 26-28 in Baltimore, Md. 

“I am thrilled that we will be bringing the Girls 18s Junior National Championship to Baltimore,” said USA Volleyball President and CEO Jamie Davis. “It’s culture, historical sites and love of sports make it a top destination for our volleyball teams and their family and friends. Thank you to the Chesapeake Region and Visit Baltimore for supporting the event.” 

It will be the first time the city has hosted a USA Volleyball national championship. 

“It is an absolute honor that USA Volleyball has selected Baltimore as its host city for the 2024 Girls 18s Junior National Championship,” said Al Hutchinson, President and CEO of Visit Baltimore. “USA Volleyball has a long-standing legacy of providing a supportive environment that empowers every athlete to reach their fullest potential. This championship will bring athletes from across the country along with coaches, family and other spectators to Charm City to experience everything that makes Baltimore a major sports destination such as our world-class athletic facilities, dining and retail offerings, and cultural attractions.” 

The Girls 18s Junior Nationals is an annual event that offers club players competing at the top age range a chance to face teams from around the country.   

In 2024, the Girls 18s event will be in its ninth year as a stand-alone national championship. More than 350 teams are expected to compete in seven divisions, bringing thousands of players, staff, family and friends to the city. 

The 2023 Girls 18s National Championship will be in Columbus, Ohio. Qualifiers for that event can be viewed on the USA Volleyball Event Calendar.
