COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (February 12, 2024) – The nation’s top junior volleyball athletes will once again take to Fort Lauderdale Beach and compete for a title at the 2024 USA Volleyball Beach National Championship.

The tournament will run July 12-17 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. An NTDP Beach Accelerator will take place July 11 before competition begins.

Fort Lauderdale Beach (1100 Seabreeze Blvd.) has hosted the tournament since 2021.

“Greater Fort Lauderdale truly offers the perfect beach backdrop for this year’s USA Volleyball Beach National Championship” said Stacy Ritter, president and CEO of Visit Lauderdale. “As we welcome athletes and enthusiasts from across the country, our shores stand ready to showcase the true competition and vibrant hospitality of our destination.”

The 2024 USA Volleyball Beach National Championship includes four competitive age groups for both boys and girls: 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U. 12U and 16U athletes will compete July 12-14 while 14U and 18U athletes play July 15-17.

All girls age groups will feature three divisions: Open, American and Patriot. Bids are required for entry in the Open or American divisions only and may be earned at a National Beach Tour event. The Patriot Division does not require athletes to qualify; participants can register at any time. Additionally, medalists from the 2023 USA Volleyball Beach National Championship who still qualify for the same age group receive an automatic bid to that same division in 2024.

Boys do not require a bid and may automatically register for the Boys Open division.

Registration for the 2024 USA Volleyball Beach National Championship is now open. Further questions may be directed to beachevents@usav.org.
