COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (February 27, 2024) – Beach volleyball clubs will once again compete for a national title at the 2024 U.S. Beach Club Championship, held this year on July 27-28 in Hermosa Beach, California.
A partnership between USA Volleyball and the AVP, the U.S. Beach Club Championship mimics collegiate competition where clubs play three- or five-court dual matches against one another. Whenever a club wins on a majority of the courts, it clinches the dual.
The 2024 edition features boys and girls divisions in the 18U, 16U and 14U age groups. Squads in the Girls 18U division must have five pairs, all others will have three. Pool play for all divisions will take place Saturday, July 27 with playoffs on Sunday, July 28. Every squad is guaranteed to participate in pool play and a knockout bracket.
This is the third year of the U.S. Beach Club Championship. Spiker Huntington Beach won last year in Hermosa. High Performance Athletes of Jacksonville, Florida, won the inaugural event two years ago in Fort Lauderdale.
Registration is open now through July 19, 2024. No qualification is necessary, but participants, coaches and staff must be current members of both USA Volleyball and the AVP.
