Micha Hancock

PARIS, France (July 31, 2024) – Setter Micha Hancock, the U.S. Women’s official alternate for the Paris Olympic Games, has replaced setter Lauren Carlini on the team’s 12-player roster due to injury.

The official alternate is a new position for 2024. The official alternate is a non-competing athlete who may serve as a last-minute replacement if a player is unable to compete due to injury or illness. The replaced player may return later in the tournament.

Hancock is a 2020 Olympian who won the gold medal with the women’s indoor team in Tokyo.

The U.S. Women play Serbia today (July 31) at 8 a.m. PDT (5 p.m. in Paris).
