Men's Sitting Team Gets Last Chance at Paris 2024

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (April 2, 2024) – The U.S. Men’s Sitting Team will make one last run at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games this week when it competes at the World ParaVolley Sitting Volleyball Final Qualifier on April 2-10 in Dali, China.

Besides the U.S. Men, teams looking to qualify for the final slot in Paris are Canada, China, Croatia, Iraq, Japan, Poland and Ukraine.

Men’s teams that have already qualified are Bosnia & Herzegovina, Brazil, Egypt, France, Germany, Iran and Kazakhstan

The U.S. Men are ranked No. 9 in the world. Their last Paralympic Games competition was in 2016 in Rio de Janeiro.

The U.S. team roster for the qualifier includes Paralympians Ben Aman, Eric Duda, Roderick Green, John Kremer, Dan Regan, Chris Seilkop and James Stuck.

William Curtis, Nicholas Dadgostar, Robbie Gaupp, Travis Ricks, Jason Roberts, Zach Upp and Patrick Young join them on the roster.

“This is our chance to make Paris and that’s the ultimate goal for us,” Regan said. “It can be done. We can do it. It’s going to take everyone’s best effort.”

The U.S. Men’s head coach is Greg Walker. He will be assisted by Joe Skinner and Julie Allen.
