NTDP Fall Beach Training Series

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Sept. 28, 2023) – More than 80 athletes in the Under-15 to Under-19 age divisions are registered to participate in the USA Volleyball National Team Development Program’s (NTDP) Beach Fall Training Series on Sept. 29-Oct. 1 in Virginia Beach, Va.

This training series will be alongside the 49th Annual Neptune Festival Boardwalk Weekend with the support of the Old Dominion Region and the Tidewater Volleyball Association and will be held.

The U21 Beach National Team will also have its training block in Virginia Beach, Va., at the same time to prepare for the upcoming 2023 FIVB U21 Beach World Championships in Roi Et, Thailand.

This training gives junior beach volleyball athletes the chance to practice with and compete against some of the best athletes in the United States while receiving guidance from top coaches.

All training series are conducted by top Beach NTDP and collegiate coaches and feature a comprehensive focus on the five pillars of the NTDP: Craft, Mind, Body, Heart and Team. The full list of coaches is on the respective roster pages.

Athletes for the Fall Training Series were identified and invited based on recommendations from the Beach NTDP Scouting Network. The scouting network serves as the Beach NTDP talent identification process and includes coaches and experts from across the United States.

Twenty USA Volleyball regions will be represented at the Beach Fall Training Series: Arizona, Badger, Chesapeake, Columbia, Florida, Garden Empire, Great Lakes, Heart of America, Hoosier, Lone Star, New England, North Texas, Northern California, Ohio Valley, Old Dominion, Palmetto, Pioneer, Puget Sound, Southern and Southern California.
