COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Sept. 8, 2023) – Approximately 130 athletes from around the country will work with top coaches and look to improve their skills at the USA Volleyball National Team Development Program’s (NTDP) Boys Indoor Fall Training Series event on Sept. 15-17 at the Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.

BOYS ROSTERS

It’s the first time NTDP Training Series athletes will have the opportunity to work at the headquarters of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic movement.

Colorado Springs Training Series athletes represent 22 USA Volleyball regions and 21 states, and range in age from under-16 to under-20. As part of the series, athletes have a chance to train with and against other top players.

All training series are conducted by top indoor NTDP coaches from colleges and clubs, and feature a comprehensive focus on the five pillars of the NTDP: Craft, Mind, Body, Heart and Team.

Athletes for the Fall Training Series were identified and invited based on recommendations from the Indoor NTDP Scouting Network. The scouting network serves as the Indoor NTDP talent identification process and includes coaches and experts from across the United States.

Lead coaches for the weekend are John Hawks, head coach at Loyola University Chicago (U16/U17) and Nick MacRae, assistant coach at Long Beach State (U18/U19/U20).
