Registration Open for Women's National Team Open Program

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Dec. 6, 2023) – Registration is now open for the 2023 USA Volleyball Women’s National Team Open Program, scheduled for Feb. 24-26 at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.

The WNT Open Program is used for consideration for selection to both the U.S. Women’s National Team and the U.S. Women’s Collegiate National Team. In 2023, members of the U.S. Women’s National Team will compete in the following events: Volleyball Nations League, Paris Olympic Qualifier, Pan American Cup, NORCECA Continental Championships and potentially the Pan American Games.

Athletes born in 2003 or younger may also be in consideration for selection to the U.S. U21 Women’s National Team that will compete in the 2023 FIVB U21 World Championships.

“The Open Program is an excellent opportunity for our Women’s National Team staff to observe USA Volleyball hopefuls under one roof.” said U.S. Women’s National Team Head Coach Karch Kiraly. “This country is filled with young volleyball talent. For our Women’s National Team to sustain competitive excellence, our WNT staff must be dialed in to the growing potential throughout our National Team Development Program as well as top NCAA student-athletes. We look forward to a great program in Colorado Springs in February.”

The Open Program is available to current and recently graduated, college-age athletes born in the years 1998-2004 inclusive. Athletes born outside of this age group may contact Nicole Segura (nicole.segura@usav.org) for approval to attend.

The 2023 U.S. Women’s Collegiate National Team (WCNT) will train in Anaheim, Calif., alongside U.S. Women’s National Team athletes and staff. This program is used to consider athletes for selection to the Women’s National Team and related events. Dates for the WCNT training block will be announced soon.
