USA Volleyball crowned champions in nine divisions Saturday in the Girls Junior National Championship 11-13s at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

Event Information
All spectators are required to purchase tickets for entry into the 2023 Girls 11-13s Junior National Championship.
USAV is using an electronic ticketing system and the electronic ticket (QR code) and photo identification will be required for each entry and re-entry into the facility.
Age Divisions:
11s: June 14-16 (Onsite Check-In: June 13 at 2:00-9:00 p.m.)
Ages 12 -13s: June 14-17 (Onsite Check-In: June 13 at 2:00-9:00 p.m.)

Q: Where can I find the schedule?
A: It will be posted at the beginning of the week of play on AES.
Q: What are the entry times and location?
A: Entry will be located on the inside of the Minneapolis Convention Center through Hall A and Hall D.
- AM Waves – Doors will open at 7AM. Once you have completed your work assignments and matches for the day please leave the facility.
- PM Waves – Doors will open at 2:30PM to allow AM waves to leave after their scheduled 1PM game.

Q: Are the matches livestreamed?
A: We’re excited to announce BallerTV will be livestreaming the Girls Junior National Championship (11-13s)! The event livestream kicks off Wednesday, June 14th.
Can’t attend the event in person? With BallerTV, you can watch the Girls Junior National Championship (11-13s) games live, create and edit clips, and get access to the game downloads.
Q: Are there practice opportunities?
A: Yes, Practices will be allowed in the Minneapolis Convention Center on Tuesday, June 13th from 4-8 pm. Courts will be first come, first serve with an allotted 1 hour practice maximum.
Q: Will there be balls and carts available for rental?
A: Yes, Coaches/Rostered staff will be able to checkout volleyballs and carts on a first come first serve basis at the equipment tent.
Ball Cart Checkout will be available each day of Nationals at the Blue Equipment Desk located behind the Championship Desk. Balls and (limited) ball carts will be available on a first come first serve basis. One must show a drivers license in order to check out balls/ball carts each day.

Entry Fees
- 11 National – $800
- 12-13 Open, National, USA, Liberty, American – $1,000
- 13 Patriot – $900
Once a team has either accepted a bid or received a spot in the Patriot Division, they will be placed in an “OK to Pay” status. Only then will they be prompted for payment. Check or credit card is accepted.
Due to the recent changes in fees imposed by credit card merchants, all credit card payments will incur a $25 non-refundable convenience fee. There are no convenience fees for paying by check.
**Last Day to mail in Checks is 5/26/23.**
Refund Policy
A team that is denied entry to the National Championship by the USAV Events Department shall receive a full refund of their entry fee.
• There will be NO REFUNDS if a team removes itself from the event after the registration deadline, which will be outlined in the acceptance email sent to the individual team.
Stop by our booth before your matches to sign up for Official USA Volleyball Action Photos for you and your team.
We only photograph by request and sign up is free, but spots fill up quickly. About an hour after your match you can view your photos on the iPads at our booth, create your album of favorites, and then place your order. You will get 5×7 and 8×10 prints, photo plaques, and digital photos at the tournament – posters will be mailed afterward. Don’t miss this unique and fun opportunity.
Also come by our booth to schedule and take your special team photos. It’s free to sign up and take your team photo, but slots fill up quickly as well. It only takes a few minutes to take and immediately preview your team photo. Don’t wait until the last day when we are extremely busy with team photos. Each parent can purchase 5×7 prints, 8×10 prints, and photo plaques of both regular and silly team photos.

This is a Stay and Play event; all housing must be booked through Team Travel Source.
Tier One and Tier Two Lottery Results
Patriot Housing will open Thursday, January 12
- If you are tentatively accepted with USAV for this event on January 11, Team Travel Source will email the Booking Link to the Club Contact registered on Thursday, January 12 at 12 p.m. EST
- If you are tentatively accepted with USAV after January 11 – Team Travel Source will email the Booking Link to the Club Contact registered, once we have notified Team Travel Source of your Patriot standing.
Patriot teams can only book at Patriot indicated properties. Properties will be marked as Patriot hotel on the boking site. More information is available on the Team Travel Source website
General Information
- The Patriot Division is the only Pay to Play Division at the Girls Junior National Championship.
- Registration for the Patriot Division will open at the below times through the official event registration system, Advanced Event Systems (AES):
- 13s: – 12 p.m. EST on January 11, 2023
- The maximum number of teams that will be accepted in each Patriot Age Division will be as follows:
- 13 & Under Age Divisions: 96 teams each
- The first 96* teams (13 & under) to register, based on date and time of entry in AES, will be notified through email that they have been tentatively accepted into this division. In the email, these teams will be given a specific deadline by which their Official Entry Form and entry fee must be received at the USA Volleyball National Office AND their housing must be booked through Team Travel Source, in order to be officially accepted.
- PLEASE DO NOT mail Official Entry Forms and fees to the USA Volleyball office UNTIL you have received notification of acceptance into the Patriot division from USA Volleyball Events Staff.
- If teams fail to complete all entry requirements by the given deadline, they will automatically be moved to the bottom of the wait list.
- All teams must book their housing through Team Travel Source in the Patriot Block and abide by the Stay & Play Policy.
- Teams that are not accepted as the top 96 teams, will be placed on a waitlist based on their date and time of entry in AES. This waitlist will be posted on the USA Volleyball website.
- If a team receives a Patriot bid and then later qualifies for a higher division, their entry materials will be transferred to their new division. That team’s Patriot bid will be awarded to the next team in line on the wait list (barring any team whose club has already met their team limit).
- Patriot Refund Deadline: May 1, 2023
*Please note: The Patriot division will be limited to 2 teams per club. If the division does not fill, we will then consider increasing this limit.

As the sport of volleyball continues to grow in popularity with young athletes around the country, USA Volleyball is announcing that it will split its Girls Junior National Championship to provide more opportunities for clubs and junior athletes to compete. The inaugural USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship (GJNC) for the 11-13 age divisions will be held on June 14-17, 2023, in Minneapolis at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
