Colorado Springs, Colo. (Sept. 9, 2021) – Some of USA Volleyball’s best and brightest young indoor players will take to the court this month for the National Team Development Program (NTDP) Fall Training Series.

The 2021 NTDP Indoor Fall Training Series will consist of two programs this month: Sept. 10-12 in Orlando, Fla., and Sept. 17-19 in Columbus, Ohio.

Approximately 117 girls ages 14-18 and 90 boys ages 15-18 are registered to participate. These athletes are in strong consideration to compete for positions on USA Volleyball’s age-group national teams next year, as well as in the upcoming winter, spring and summer training series in 2021-22.

The Indoor Fall Training Series will help accelerate athlete development while giving players the chance to play with and against other top players in their age group. Experienced coaches will offer guidance and feedback that the players can take back to their club and/or school teams. The Beach Fall Training Series rosters will be announced later this month.

Among the coaches who will work with the athletes are Pepperdine Men’s Head Coach David Hunt, Olympic gold medalist Jordan Larson, five-time Olympic medalist Danielle Scott and former U.S. Women’s National Team member Cassidy Lichtman. View the entire coaching roster.

“We are looking forward to the NTDP Fall Training Series,” said Erin Virtue, USAV director, NTDP. “Our scouting network has identified a wonderful group of athletes, and we are excited to bring them together to continue to foster the learning that began over the summer. We are thrilled to have our nation’s best join us for a few short days this fall.”
