Officials Registration
Below are the necessary steps to take to complete your registration paperwork to be able to officiate for SCSN.
NECESSARY ONLINE SPORTSENGINE REGISTRATION AND REQUIREMENTS
- Sign into to your SportsEngine account. If you don’t have a 2025-2026 Officials Membership yet, please visit SportsEngine Registration and pay your registration fee.
- Complete USA Volleyball Use Agreement & Release of Liability
- Complete USA Volleyball Code of Conduct
- Complete SCSN Refund Policy
- Complete SCSN Independent Contractor Agreement
- Complete USA Volleyball Acknowledgement of SafeSport and MAAPP
- Complete Background Screening (Payment Fee $14 every year)
- Complete SafeSport Certification Course – All referees are required to take the mandatory SafeSport refresher modules.
SportsEngine will send you an email in regards to which eligibility requirements are needed to complete before participating in the upcoming season.
No assignments will be made to anyone who has not completed all SportsEngine registration, payments to the SCSN, have not completed the SafeSport refresher module, and have not attended the Officials’ Clinic.
Officials’ Clinics
Registration through SportsEngine MUST BE DONE prior to attending the clinic.
You only need to attend one clinic, and clinic dates will be added here once they are established.
The regional clinic is mandatory for all officials who plan on officiating any/all SCSN tournaments. Attendance to an in-person regional clinic is required for re-certification.
- Registration is required for the in-person clinic. Register through the USAV Volleyball Academy which you get to from your profile in SportsEngine.
- Instructions are located at USAV Volleyball Academy (accessible from your home page in SportsEngine).
- Go to Content Library and find clinic course you want to attend or search for it:
SC26_204 On-Site Officials Clinic – Sep. 21, 2025- 9 a.m.: Veteran officials 3+ years, limited to 125, site is Momentous offices
- 12:30 p.m. All officials, limited to 125, site is Momentous offices
SC26_205 On-Site Officials Clinic – Oct. 26, 2025- 9 a.m.: All officials, limited to 125, site is Momentous offices
SC26_206 On-Site Officials Clinic – Nov. 9, 2025- 9 a.m.: All officials, limited to 125, site is Momentous offices
- UPDATE: SC26_207 Virtual Officials Clinic (Microsoft Teams) – Dec. 28, 2025 – This clinic will be open to EVERYONE now, But you must email John Pederson ([email protected]) to let him know you want to attend.
- *Click on the registration link, than click the green register button.
USAV Officials Modules: Required (USAV Volleyball Academy)
All officials are required to complete the USAV modules located in the USAV Volleyball Academy by Jan. 15, 2026.
Below is a list of the modules to complete depending on your experience.
- SC26_201 New Provisional Officials Training (1-3 years)
- SC26_202 Regional Officials Training (4 years and above)
- SC26_203 Provisional Officials Training – Las Vegas Residents

- Log into SportsEngine
- Click Household
- Click View Profile on the player’s name
- Click View Details on the membership to the right of the profile
- When new page pops up, click the membership again, and a drop down with all the requirements will be there.
