What you need to wear and carry for every SCSN assignment.

Unless marked optional, these items are required.

Navy golf-style shorts are allowed at regional-only events. USA Volleyball-approved polos, jackets, and sweaters may also be worn.

Notes
  • Whistle and lanyard should match; a cushioned rubber mouth grip is worth having. Keep a spare whistle or two.
  • Some manufacturers make a combination pump and gauge.
  • A digital watch with a timer or countdown is required.
  • USAV rulebooks are provided to SCSN members through registration and dues, and are also on the USAV Rulebooks page.
  • Comfortable, long-lasting shoes are essential for every assignment.
Where to Buy
SCSN does not require specific vendors for most items, but only a couple of vendors are licensed to sell the official Certified Volleyball Officials shirts and outerwear, so those must be purchased from a licensed vendor.
