The WNT Open Program (WNTOP) is used for consideration for selection to both our Women’s National Team and our Women’s Collegiate National Team (WCNT). The WNTOP and WCNT allow our Women’s National Team staff to observe the highest potential athletes with and against one another. In 2024, members of our Women’s National Team will compete in the following events: Volleyball Nations League, Pan American Cup, NORCECA Continental Championships, and, potentially, Pan American Games. Athletes born in 2005 or younger may also be in consideration for selection to our U21 Women’s National Team that will compete in the 2024 NORCECA U21 Continental Championship.
The program is scheduled for Feb. 23-25 at the Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and is open to current and recently graduated college-age athletes born in the years 1999-2005* inclusive. Athletes born outside of this age group may email Kris Berzins for approval to attend.
The 2024 U.S. Women’s Collegiate National Team will train in Anaheim alongside the U.S. Women’s National Team athletes and staff. This program is used for consideration for selection to our Women’s National Team and related events. Dates for the WCNT training block will be announced closer to WNTOP event.
