USA Volleyball is proud to announce the six beach volleyball teams it is sending to the 2024 Beach World University Championship on Sept. 2-8 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Last week, U.S. pairs took home two medals at BPT Futures Halifax. This week, competition is underway in the U19 Beach World Championships. All four pairs entered advanced past the qualification phase into the main draw. We also look ahead to upcoming beach events to finish out the month.

There are several beach events on the calendar over the next few weeks, including the Beach U19 World Championships and World University Championships. The Beach Pro Tour also resumes with a slate of post-Olympic events.

More than 100 girls and boys athletes are at Dockweiler Beach, Playa del Rey, California, on July 29-Aug. 1 for the 2024 Beach National Team Development Program Summer Training Series.

Sixteen athletes have been selected as part of the 2024 U19 Beach National Team Training Block #1. The players are training June 10-14 at Hermosa Beach, Calif., with trials taking place June 17-20.

Sixteen women and 15 men have been selected for the 2024 USA Volleyball Beach Collegiate National Team, part of the National Team Development Program (NTDP).
