Six high school teams made history by competing in early season scrimmages in what is believed to be the first outdoor high school volleyball contest in Ohio. Deemed “Showdown at Sundown” the event was co-hosted by Newark Catholic High School and Newark High School on Aug. 8 at White Field in Newark.
