USA Volleyball is proud to announce the athletes and staff who will comprise the U.S. Beach Volleyball Team for the Olympic Games Paris 2024

This is it, the last beach for Olympic qualifying points and the final chance for Trevor Crabb and Theo Brunner to overtake Miles Evans and Chase Budinger for the second U.S. men’s roster spot. We also see Betsi Flint and Julia Scoles return to international competition in 2024, and we have one Futures event on the books for the week.

Taryn Kloth and Kristen Nuss secure another gold medal on the FIVB World Tour two months out from the Paris games. Miles Evans and Chase Budinger extend their lead over Trevor Crabb and Theo Brunner with two tournaments to go before the U.S. Olympic teams are finalized. One of those tournaments begins this week, as Challenge Stare Jablonki will feature the two men’s teams vying for that final spot.

The USA Volleyball community gathered on Wednesday at the Hilton Polaris in Columbus, Ohio, to honor its annual award winners and inductees to the USA Volleyball Hall of Fame

Both U.S. pairs competing at the NORCECA Continental Tour Final in Juan Dolio finished as tournament champions when play concluded on May 14.

The U.S. began May by earning five medals across two separate events held this past weekend. There is one beach event with two U.S. teams on tap for this week, and we check in on the Olympic race for the U.S. men, now with four points scoring tournaments to go before Paris. 

As we enter the new month, each tournament is critical for pairs in the race to earn more Olympic points. With the top two spots well defined for the women, the men’s rankings will likely get extra attention this week at BPT Elite 16 Brasilia.

USA Volleyball is set to celebrate some of the sport’s greatest athletes, coaches, officials and leaders at its 2024 Hall of Fame annual banquet and ceremony on May 22 at the Hilton Polaris in Columbus, Ohio

In the final beach update of 2023, we take a look at the results of the two most recent NORCECA tournaments, both of which took place in Juan Dolio, Dominican Republic. The U23 Continental Tour and the Beach Finals closed out the competition schedule until the new year, so we will look one more time at the rankings.
