COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (June 18, 2026) — Both U.S. sitting national teams are in Assen, Netherlands, this weekend for the annual Dutch Tournament, the last tuneup before both teams head to Hangzhou, China, for the World ParaVolley Championship, July 10-17.
Last year, both teams went undefeated to win gold at the Dutch Tournament. This year, the men will compete against Ukraine, the Netherlands, Italy and Poland in pool play. Their first match is scheduled for June 18 at 11:45 p.m. PT. The women face Poland, Ukraine, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy and Canada. Their first match is June 19 at 7:30 a.m. PT. All matches are streamed live on YouTube.
The U.S. women recently won gold at the USA Sitting Cup while the men won silver. 2028 Paralympic qualification is on the line at the World Championship next month, as the top eight teams in both divisions earn spots in the Games.
