By becoming an official in one of USA Volleyball’s 40 regions, you have the opportunity to stay connected with USA Volleyball in many ways and continue to play a huge part in the sport you love. Create your own flexible schedule, work with your friends and work closely with a mentor to enhance your skills. Additionally, we are here to support USA Volleyball officials by preventing abuse and misconduct and we will work together to make it a positive environment.

1 Find Your Region
For those new to USA Volleyball officiating, the first step is to find and contact your USA Volleyball Region. Use our Region map to find your Region. The Officials contacts will appear.
2 Contact the Officials Chair
After contacting the appropriate chair from your region, your certification process with USA Volleyball will get underway.
3 Get Certified
Each region has its own process, but in most cases, you will need to take a clinic (in person or online), take an exam, and be evaluated as a referee or scorer. Your regional personnel will guide you through the process for your region. Get started today!.
